FM Systems will normally respond to your request for Security System Services on the same business day. We try to assist customers over the phone then schedule a technician for a site visit, if required. Our goal is to resolve routine problems within 24 hours, or by the next business day, or at a mutually acceptable time. Catastrophic system failures receive immediate attention both during business hours and after hours, or on weekends.

After hours, a locally based, security system service technician is always on-call for handling your emergency service requests. Technicians are dispatched by calling our offices and scheduling with the Service Department, or paging them through our after hours Voice Mail System. You may also request Security System Service when speaking with a Central Station Dispatcher. Customers with Service Agreement always receive highest priority for response.

In order to promote the type of ongoing service your systems' require, FM Systems is committed to developing a staff of qualified, factory-trained service, installation and sales professionals. We provide redundant training throughout our company to ensure that our customers will have multiple points of contact. A Customer Service Representative is also available to respond to your technical questions, unusual problems, or training issues.

We believe that our security system service is the most important factor to our past and continued customer satisfaction. Your suggestions are always welcome for creating better policies and improving performance.

In addition to our standard warranty coverage, FM Systems, Inc. offers the following security system service options :
  1. Paying for component parts and labor, as they are required. The minimum rate for technician labor is $ 24.75 per quarter hour of service between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday. The rate is time and a half at any other time during the week, including Saturdays and Sundays, and double time on all holidays. A minimum charge of $111.50 will be incurred on all service visits.

  2. Paying for maintenance on a yearly basis. Service contracts are recommended and are quoted as requested on and individual basis. The minimum service contract rate is $19.50 per month. Competitive industry standard rates are approximately 10% of the cost of your equipment per year. Misuse or abuse of the system components is not covered by the service contract.
